Through our work we hope to show the essence and forms that constitutes our design approach. Instilled in every handcrafted piece produced in our Glasgow workshop a respect and understanding of the materials used, a consideration to the function of furniture in our daily lives and a dedication to superior quality, ensuring a long life.
Our choice of materials influenced by our appreciation for Scotland’s rich heritage with its array of crafts and resources from the tanneries and mills producing the finest leather and textiles to the foundries with generations of expertise.

Finished with natural oils and waxes, enhancing the grain and figure while maintaining a handfeel appearance.
All of our work is handmade using traditional methods with innovative technique and thinking by a small group of skilled craftsmen, guided by head designer Derek Wilson. Many Faolchú pieces are hand sculpted and are all hand finished, processes that connects the craftsman furthermore to their work. We value the fortunate place we find ourselves and its with pride and dedication we strive to create beautiful and functional objects.
